Die Note Eins für Mutterliebe hat sich Blumenverkäuferin Leni Bluhm (Anna Loos) wirklich verdient. An Zuneigung fehlt es Sohn Dominik (Leo Natalis) auf keinen Fall. Doch als Analphabetin kann Leni dem Jungen nicht bei den Hausaufgaben helfen. Der Sorgfaltspflicht folgend, schaltet Lehrerin Steiner (Susanne Lüning) das Jugendamt ein. Als Leni in ihrer Unkenntnis ein Dokument unterzeichnet, kommt Dominik zu einer Pflegemutter. Und das ist ausgerechnet Lehrerin Steiner!
