Verwechslungslustspiel: Henny Porten als junges Mädchen, das der vom Vater arrangierten Ehe nicht zustimmen mag und stattdessen romantischen Mädchenträumereien nachhängt: Sie hat sich in den Kopf gesetzt, nur einen Räuberhauptmann zu heiraten, der ein wildes und gefährliches Leben führt und gegen die Polizei kämpft.
