Robert Morley was born on May 26, 1908 in Semley, Wilshire. He was an English Actor, known for The African Queen (1951), Theatre of Blood (1973), Quentin Durward (1955), Robert Morley's first movie on record is from 1938. Robert Morley died on June 3, 1992 in Berkshire. His last motion picture on file dates from 1988.
Biographical Notes in German: Son of an army major, after attending RADA he took his first stage role in ì
the age of 20. During his 60-year carreer he appeared in plays, ì
advertisements and a great number of films. He once claimed that there are ì
no "many easier ways of making a living than acting". he was a regular ì
contributor to PUNCH and wrote eight plays and an autobiography. In 1970 he ì
refused a knighthood.
