Biographical Notes in German: Rudolf Kowalski spielte an Bühnen wie dem Nationaltheater Mannheim, dem Staatstheater Stuttgart und dem Schauspielhaus Köln. Danach wandte er sich der Arbeit vor der Kamera zu und spielte inzwischen in zahlreichen Fernsehfilmen, darunter Hauptrollen in „Die Friedensmission“ in der Regie von Jörg Grünler, „Schwindelnde Höhen“ in der Regie von Jobst Oetzmann, „Mord im Haus des Herrn“ in der Regie von Christian Görlitz oder „Die Konferenz“, inszeniert von Niki Stein. An der Seite von Hannelore Hoger hat er großen Erfolg als Simon Abendroth in den „Bella Block“-Krimis. Zuletzt war Rudolf Kowalski in „Die Pathologin“ (Regie Jörg Lühdorff) und „Der Tornado“ (Regie Jörg Grünler) auf dem Bildschirm zu sehen. Abgedreht ist die erste Staffel der Serie „Stolberg“, in der Rudolf Kowalski die Titelrolle spielt und die ab Ende Oktober 2006 zu sehen war.
