Max Adalbert was born on December 19, 1874 in Danzig. He was a German Actor, known for Das Indische Grabmal: Die Sendung des Yoghi (1921), Der müde Tod (1921), Dr. Mabuse der Spieler - Spieler aus Leidenschaft (1922), Max Adalbert's first movie on record is from 1915. Max Adalbert died on September 7, 1933 in München. His last motion picture on file dates from 1933.
Biographical Notes in German: Eigentlich Krampf, geboren aus einer alten Offiziersfamilie in Danzig. Theater in Lübeck, St. Gallen, Wien, Berliner Bühnen (Kleines Theater, Reinhard Bühnen). Adalberts grösster Theatererfolg wird seine Rolle als Hauptmann von Köpenick ab 1931 am Deutschen Theater in Berlin, eine Rolle, die er dann auch im Film spielte. 1924 gründete er mit Kurt Robitschek und Paul Morgan das Kabarett der Komiker (KadeKo). Nach ersten Rollen im Film seit den Zehner-Jahren vor allem in frühen deutschen Tonfilm erfolgreich. Adalbert starb an den Folgen einer Lungenentzündung in München.
