Luisa Ferida was born on March 18, 1914 in Castel San Pietro. She was an Italian Actress, known for Grazia (1943), Gelosia (1942), Amore Imperiale (1942), Luisa Ferida's first movie on record is from 1935. Luisa Ferida died on April 30, 1945 in Milano. Her last motion picture on file dates from 1945.
Biographical Notes in German: eigentlich Luigia Manfrini Frané, Schauspielerin des italienischen Kinos, Theaterdebut bei Ruggero Ruggeri und Paola Barboni. Erste Filmrolle 1935 unter der Regie von Corrado D'Errico und Piero Ballerini in «Freccia d'oro» wurde sie bald zu einer beliebten Schauspielerin der Filme der Dreissiger Jahre in Italien. Bei Regisseur Alessandro Blasetti spielte sie u.a. in «Un'avventura di Salvator Rosa» (1937), «La corona di ferro» (1941) und «La cena delle beffe» (1941). Für die Darstellung in «Fari nella nebbia» von Gianni Franciolini wurde sie 1942 als beste Schauspielerin ausgezeichnet.
Bei den Dreharbeiten zu Blasettis «Un'avventura di Salvator Rosa» lernte sie den Schauspieler Osvaldo Valenti kennen, mit dem sie fortan liiert war. Ein Sohn starb nur vier Tage nach seiner Geburt. Bei Kriegsende wurde die schwangere Luisa Ferida, 31-jährig, zusammen mit Osvaldo Valenti in den Strassen von Mailand auf offener Strasse von Partisanen verhaftet und ohne Prozess wegen angeblicher Kooperation mit der faschistischen Republik von Salò erschossen. Der Partisanenchef, der die Erschiessung angeordnet hatte, war Sandro Pertini, der spätere Präsident Italiens.
