Lil Dagover was born under the given name Martha Marie Antonia Siegelinde Seubert on September 30, 1887 in Madiven, Java. She was a German Actress, known for Zur Chronik von Grieshuus (1924), Der Fussgänger (1971), Bekenntnisse des Hochstaplers Felix Krull (1956), Lil Dagover's first movie on record is from 1912. Lil Dagover died on January 22, 1980 in München. Her last motion picture on file dates from 1979.
Biographical Notes in German: Als Tochter deutscher Eltern auf Java geboren, dann im Alter von sechs Jahren wieder zurück nach Deutschland. Durch ihren ersten Mann, den Schauspieler Fritz Daghofer zum Film, vor allem durch "Das Cabinett des Dr. Caligari" und deutsche Stummfilme bekannt geworden. Zahlreiche Rollen in den 30er und 40er Jahren, später verheiratet mit dem Produzenten Georg Witt.
