Biographical Notes in German: eigentlich Aldo Graziati, Kameramann des italienischen Films, begann als Darsteller im französischen Films, danach Ausbildung für Regie, Kamera und Standphotographie. Kameramann in verschiedenen französischen Filmen, 1948 Rückkehr nach Italien, wo er einer der bedeutendsten Kameraleute des Neorealismus wurde. Viscontis SENSO ist sein letzter Film.
