Biographical Notes in German: American Actress (1913-1987), child actress of the late Tens, born in Hollywood and active in stage plays at the age of two years. Her first movie is”The End of the Rainbow” (1916), when she is three years old, she plays in some films of Frank Lloyd at Fox and then in 1919 / 1920 in three productions of Rex Ingram: “The Day She Paid”, “Under Crimson Skies” and “Shore Acres” Her career as child actress comes to an end by 1920, in the early Thirties she plays some small parts and signs her last film in 1936 as Barbara Trent in the Serial “Custer's Last Stand.” After her divorce from the Los Angeles attorney Max Gilford, Nancy Caswell marries a French-American Gold-Tycoon Lionel L. Brooks and moves temporarily to Paris. At the age of 74 she dies in Miami, Florida, of heart failure. [lhg 2013]
