Filmdebüt in der Operette "ZIGEUNERBLUT"; zahlreiche Engagements auf Revuebühnen u.a. zusammen mit ihrem Bruder Michael Symo, mit dem sie auch gemeinsam in "SIE UND DIE DREI" auftrat. Nach 1945 ging sie nach Schweden und heiratete den Dirigenten Willy Mattes. Mutter der Schauspielerin Eva Mattes. Nach 1955 vereinzelte Rollen im deutschen Kino und Fernsehen.
